What is folo

folo is a staff agent for founders and the small teams around them. Each person gets their own agent, which they name when they sign up. You reach it by text, by phone or in the app, and it answers from your meetings, email, calendar and files, with a source on every point.

folo is built for founders and CEOs with many outside meetings: customers, investors, candidates and partners. Teammates join the same company as extra members, each with their own agent over the same records.

What folo does around a meeting

Before
  1. Prepare Who is coming, what was said last time, what you promised, and what they raised before. Each point names its source.
  2. Tell you PlannedA heads-up text or a short prep call, whichever you chose for that meeting.
During
  1. Capture Plannedfolo's notetaker joins the call and announces itself. One capture serves every teammate who attended.
After
  1. Recap PlannedNotes, commitments with an owner and a due date, and a short recap to you and the other attendees.
  2. Debrief PlannedAn optional short call to record your own thoughts, kept private to you.

Those records feed the next brief, and a teammate's agent can answer from them within the visibility rules on What folo stores.

The same path serves a text, a call and the app. Your agent never sees records you are not allowed to read.

First steps

During the private beta, a founder signs up with an invite code from askfolo.

  1. 1Sign up Enter your invite code, then sign in with Google or your email.
  2. 2Your company Name it, choose "Just me" or "A team", and give the phone number you will text folo from.
  3. 3Confirm your phone Enter the code folo texts you. A welcome text follows within a minute.
  4. 4Set up On your setup page, connect your Google calendar and email, and invite teammates.

Then text folo a question, and read SMS keywords so you know what STOP does before you send it.
