Deleting data and closing an account
The founder can close the company's folo and delete everything in it. On a personal account the same action is called "Delete my account". Closing waits 7 days, so a mistake can be undone.
The close, day by day

On the setup page, choose "Close company" and enter the 6-digit code folo texts you. folo texts back the date the account will close.
- Days 0 to 7Grace period
folo keeps working for everyone. The founder can cancel on the setup page with a new code, and folo confirms that nothing was deleted.
- Day 7Deletion starts
From here it cannot be stopped. The setup page says the account is being closed.
- Day 7 onwardsEverything is erased
Every agent, meeting, document, memory and message, folo's copies at the providers listed below, and the company's sign-in organization. The founders get one last text: "Your folo account is closed and its data deleted."
Every part of folo is erased twice, because work that began just before the freeze can still write afterwards. A step that fails is retried, and then tried again every day until it succeeds.
If your account is paused
When a founder's sign-in is removed, the company's folo is paused and the founder is asked by text whether to close it. A paused account is closed by texting CLOSE and cancelled by texting KEEP, each confirmed with a code. The exchange is shown on SMS keywords.
